Services for George D. Merritt will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Mediator, with the Revs. Mike Dobrosky and Ann Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Merritt, 74, of Meridian, died Friday April 19, 2002, in Rochester, Minn. He was president of Merritt Tax Services.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Rosenbaum Merritt of Meridian; children, Gregory A. Merritt and his wife, Dawn of Tampa, Fla.; Cheri Merritt Barry and her husband, Rick, of Meridian and Jeana Merritt Bennett and her husband, Bo, of Meridian; grandchildren, Jennifer Barry, Jay Barry, Merritt Barry, Brandon and Bonnie Bennett; and a sister, Marie Heiler of Batavia, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florry Press and Isadore Benjamin.
The family requests memorials be made to Church of the Mediator, The Key Chapter of the American Red Cross or the charity of choice.
Pallbearers will be, James Meyers, Scott Hudson, Tal Braddock, Bubba Hampton, Michael Dudley, Bob Jeffaries, Chuck Rutenberg and Bilbo Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be, Cybil Camper, Tracy Garrett, Bunnie Tisdale, Norma Gist, Dr. Daniel Borgerson, Dr. John Clay and staff, Dr. Ben Box, Dr. Dave Russell, John Chalk, Ed Harrington and Dr. Donald Adler.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 7p.m. at the church and the church will be open throughout the night.

YORK, Ala. Services for Ada Lorranine Rigdon will be held Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Larry Teasley officiating. Burial will be in York Cemetery.
Mrs. Rigdon, 84, of York, died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at the Specialty Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include three sons, Algie Clowers Sr. of York, Thomas Rigdon, of Mobile and James Rigdon of Laurel, Miss.; one brother, Clinton Whitehead of Lauderdale, Miss.; one sister, Bertha Hutchinson of Suqualena, Miss.; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday 30 minutes prior to service time at the funeral home.
IRIS ELAINE EASLEY
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Iris Elaine Easley will be held Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Butch Starkes officiating. Burial will be in Ulcanush Cemetery in Coffeeville.
Mrs. Easley, 72, of Grenada, Miss., died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, Miss.
Survivors include sons George Allen Day of Grenada, James Leslie E. Richardson, of Leaksville, Miss.; daughters, Virginia Ann Johnston of Mobile, Violet Earline Threadgill of Banks, Dorothy J. "Dottie" Kittrell of Silas and Elisa Arlene Haynes of Grenada; brother, Oris Duane Etheredge of Mobile, fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
JORDAN BONNER SR.
Services for Jordan Bonner Sr. will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Graham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bonner, 87, of Meridian, died Saturday, April 20, 2002 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Jannie Bonner of Mrdidian, three daughters, Daisey Purnell of Gary, Indiana and her husband, John, Christene Yound oand her husband, Mocell, and Georgia Sims and her husband, James, all of Meridian; one son, Jordan Bonner Jr. and his wife, Rose, of Gary, Indiana, eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

COLUMBUS Private family services will held at a later date for Charles R. "Chuck" Hutchinson, 56, who died Friday April 19, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hutchinson was the owner of H &H Roofing and Remodeling Co. of Meridian and was a member of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include, his wife, Kathy S. Hutchinson of Columbus, daughter Christine Wright and her husband, Mike; a son, Robert Upton and Chris Haney all of Meridian; brothers, Mike Hutchinson of Columbus, Tommy Hutchinson of McCool and Robert Hutchinson of Meridian; sisters, Ruth Ann Strickland, of Manila, Ark., Diana Becker of Canadaigua, N.Y. and Mary Paul Weldon, Nany Mae Scruggs, Janet Hayes and Elizabeth Goodbrad, all of Meridian; three grandchildren, Lachelle and Whitney Wright and Kirsten Haney.
