Jellenc Construction rallies for U-12 win

Iron Kids scored five runs in the first inning and went on to take an 11-3 victory.
Medicap scored its only three runs in the top of the fourth inning.
Kimberly Ford had a home run and Chelsie Jackson had a single and double for Iron Kids. Cory Roberson led Iron Kids with a double, triple and home run.
Elizabeth Case had a triple for Medicap and Kayla Allen added a single.
Under-14
Timber Resources 8
Shutter Bugs 7
Timber Resources score six runs in the final inning to come back and take an 8-7 victory over the Shutter Bugs in 14-under softball.
The Shutter Bugs led 6-2 going into the last half of the last inning but could not hold on for the victory.
Amber Jenkins had two singles and a double for Timber Resources. Meagan Winborn and Heather Harper each had a single.
Britney McElroy had two singles for the Shutter Bugs. Adrianne Miller and Cori Waters also had two single apiece in the loss.
Sugar Bears 18
Liberty Shop 11
The Sugar Bears scored seven runs in the first inning and eight runs in the last inning to take an 18-11 win over Liberty Shop.
Liberty Shop scored all 11 runs in the second inning but could not take the win.
Madeline Dorman had a single and triple for the Sugar Bears. Kim Robinson had a single and double while Latasha Collins added in two singles for the winning team.
Keating Prather had two singles for Liberty Shop. Lauren Hughes and Vickie Smith added a single apiece in the loss.
Under-18
Southeastern Chain 13
Miller Tire 2
Southeastern Chain scored seven runs in the fourth inning to secure a win over Miller Tire 13-2.
Miller Tire scored one run in the first and one run in the second but could not score any other runs.
Danielle McCoy had a home run and single for Southeastern Chain. Amber Gray had a triple while Jennifer Bristaw had two doubles. Abby Hawkins added a single and triple.
For Miller Tire, Shannon Creel had a double while Amanda Parker had a single and double. Ashley Brown had a triple and Lashana Cross had a double in the loss.
Peanut Gallery 25
Captain D's 10
Peanut Gallery scored ten runs in the fifth inning to blow away Captain D's.
Peanut Gallery also scored six runs in the second and six runs in the fourth in the victory. Captain D's scored five runs in the third and four runs in the fourth but it was not enough to take the victory.
G.A. Watkins had two triple and two home runs for Peanut Gallery. Amber Felton had three singles and a triple while Kirby Rutledge had two singles and a double.
Megan Brown had three singles and a triple for Captain D's. Jessica Finnegan had one single and a double while Ashlee Ratcliff had a single and double in the loss.
WLYA Baseball
Red Sox 16
Diamondbacks 5
The Red Sox scored six runs in the first and six in the second to take a 16-5 win over the Diamondbacks in recent 10-under WLYA baseball played at Center Hill ball park.
Dejan Ramsey had two singles for the Red Sox (1-1) . Cain Mayatt and Smokey Ethridge had a single apiece for the winning team. Justin Sylvester and Caleb Alawine each had a single in the win.
Steve Toler had a single for the Diamondbacks (0-3) while Trey McPherson added a double.
Smokey Ethridge pitched all three innings and struck out nine batters while walking four. He improves to 1-0 with the win.
Red Sox 7
Braves 3
The Red Sox scored three runs in the second to take the lead and held the Braves in the final two innings to take a 7-3 win.
The Braves scored a run in the first and two in the second, but couldn't plate another run and dropped to 2-1 on the year.
Smokey Ethridge and Eli Allen had a double apiece. Justin Sylvester and Caleb Alawine also added a single apiece.
Deion Ramsey picked up the win for the Red Sox (2-1).
