Services for Nell L. Armstrong will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Russell officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Armstrong, 73, of Meridian, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, in Pensacola, Fla. She was a native of Meridian and a Southern Baptist. She retired from the Vickers Inc. in Jackson after more than 20 years of service.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol Hennington and her husband, Mike, of Petal, Becky Armstrong and Angela Yarbrough and her husband, Bill, all of Pensacola; a son, Bobby Armstrong and his wife, Rhonda, of Brandon; seven grandchildren, Kelly and David Hennington, Robbie Armstrong, Heather Armstrong, Andi Szczepanski and Sara and Evan Yarbrough.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O.L. Armstrong and her mother, Mary C. Brooks.
The family requests memorials be made to Barham Funeral Home for Mrs. Armstrong's funeral expenses.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m.
CAMIEL D. CROWELL

Services for Camiel D. "Buddy" Crowell will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lester D. Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Crowell, 85, of Meridian, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of First Christian Church. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in World War II. Mr. Crowell was a member of the V.F.W. and also retired from Acme Building Supply.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Vaughn Crowell of Meridian; two daughters, Cathy L. Laney and her husband, Danny, of Spring, Texas, and Sherron Riley and her husband, Bryant, of Meridian; three sisters, Bonnie Gentry and Christine Davison, both of Royce City, Texas, and Leona May Strain and her husband, Jimmy, of Houston; three brothers, Herman Crowell and his wife, Lola Grace, Robert Crowell and Murphy L. Crowell and his wife, Emily, all of Royce City; two brothers-in-law, Ernest Vaughn and his wife, Virginia, and Clinton Vaughn and his wife, Ferrel, all of Meridian; two sisters-in-law, Vivian Whittington of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Mamie Fortson of Meridian; six grandchildren, Christy Laney, Leslie Laney, Katlyn Laney, Adam Riley, Travis Riley and Scott Riley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Dowell Crowell; his father, R.L. Crowell; two sisters, Opal Crowell and Vernell Crowell; two brothers, Porter Crowell and Billie Joe Crowell.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Vaughn, Danny Laney, Bryant Riley, Adam Riley, Dustin Hoffer and Joe Fortson.
Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
SADIE MORGAN
Services for Sadie Morgan will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Morgan, 82, of Meridian, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

BUTLER, Ala. Graveside services for Edward Eugene "Eddie" Lovette will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Mosley Cemetery with the Rev. Chad Adams officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lovette, 44, of Hinesville, Ga., died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include a brother, Jimmy Lovette of Hinesville, and a sister, Penelope Lovette of Mobile.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Mary Beth Bowyer will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James "Skippy" Gates officiating. Burial will be in Paynes Chapel Cemetery in Dixons Mills.
Mrs. Bowyer, 35, of Butler, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in Butler.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Bowyer and her mother, Elizabeth Lynn Newton, both of Butler; three daughters, Somer Rivers and Mollie Rivers, both of New Hebron, Miss., and Chessa Bowyer of Butler; a son, Austin Bowyer of Butler; two stepsons, Steven Bowyer and Jacob Bowyer, both of Mt. Pleasant, N.C.; five brothers, William G. Newton and Reginald Newton, both of Thomasville, Floyd Newton of Coffeeville, Terry Newton of Belle Fouche, S.D., and Mike Newton of Toxey; and a sister, Marchia T. Diamond of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Grady Newton, a brother, Chester Newton and a sister, Rose Marie Newton.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
