Make-A-Wish sets Meridian meeting

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mississippi has scheduled its Meridian Volunteer Luncheon on May 9. The meeting will be held from noon-1 p.m. at Rush Medical Group, sixth floor board room.
For reservations, call Lynn Conerly, volunteer coordinator at (800) 819-4072 by May 8. There is no charge to attend the meeting, which is also open to anyone interested in becoming a Make-A-Wish volunteer. A new volunteer orientation session will begin at 11:45 a.m.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mississippi is a non-profit organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Last year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation made wishes come true for 115 children in the state. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America is the country's largest wish-granting charity.
