Marilyn Jeanette Jones and Allen Fitzgerald Davis, both of Little Rock, Ark., were married Saturday, April 20, 2002, in Orange Beach, Ala., with the Rev. Nancy Warner officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. E.M. Jones, and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Davis, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Imogene Bedwell and the late William M. Mitchell, Mary Sue King and the late H.C. Jones, all of Tiptonville, Tenn.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Swain of Meridian, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William L. Davis of Butte, Mont.
Nuptial music was provided by Jane Moring, keyboardist. A prayer reading was led by Mark Tyson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory gown of matte satin, enhanced with lace and pearl appliques. Her veil, accented with pearls and crystals, fell from a pearl headpiece.
Maid of honor was Janet D. Jones of Meridian. Other attendants were Angela Kennedy of Little Rock, Coy Burinskas of Butler, Ala., and Kate Cooper of Daphne, Ala. Guest book attendant was Dona Davis.
Bill Ashcraft of Plano, Texas, served as best man. Groomsmen were Greg Park of Oxford, Leland Taylor of Newport, Ark., and Bill Klamfoth of Monroe, La.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents in Orange Beach. Assisting at the reception were Lauren Kennedy and Katie Kennedy.
After a honeymoon in Alaska, the couple resides in Little Rock.
