West Lauderdale says goodbye to seniors

West Lauderdale High School's 107 seniors stepped foot on their school campus for the last time as a student on Thursday night.
Nearly half of the school's 2002 senior class graduated with honors which recognizes students who have at least a 92 grade average.
Elizabeth Harmon, the class valedictorian, spoke to fellow students at the ceremony about changes the class has experienced.
Harmon recorded a 4.19 grade point average during the past four years. She plans to attend Mississippi State University next fall and study journalism.
Paige Ammon, class salutatorian, said she was "anxious, yet relieved" about graduating. Ammon, who had a 4.17 grade point average, spoke to the class about the future.
Ammon said she plans to enroll in classes at MCC next fall and eventually pursue a degree in computer animation.
Seniors who graduated with high honors were: Harmon, Ammon, Jessica Ethridge, Sarah Anderson, Adam Ainsworth, Dianne Hucks, Heather French, Jawanda Huggins, Will Moseley, John Gaskin, Sam Bobo, Natalie Goldman, Jessica Lee, Sarah Sansing, David Bayles, Courtney Pace, Lekica Boyd, Dee Dallas, Ryan Livingston, Brandon Rodgers, Austin Mixon, Andrew Culpepper, Amber Joyner, Ronnie Mabry, Holly Smith, Aaron Burton, Chris Ables, Jared Doner, Amy Poole, Jason Blanks, Justin Campbell, Jayson Kimbrough, Lindsey Pace and Joseph Ragan.
Seniors who graduated with honors were: Jack Threadgill, Tiffany Williams, Daniel Rigdon, Hayley Scarborough, Heather Neese, Casey Rickles, Todd Pruitt, Matt Harrison and Rachael Espey.
