Steve Wade of Meridian and Janet Wade of Columbus announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia L., to Andy Lee McClelland, son of Buddy L. McClelland and Sandra Sawyer of Starkville.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 1, 2002, at 6 p.m. at Plymouth Bluff in Columbus.
Miss Wade is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lee Harbour of DeKalb, and Mr. and Mrs. John F. Wade of Tell City, Ind.
The bride-elect received her nursing degree from East Mississippi Community College. She is employed at North Columbus Medical Clinic in Columbus.
Mr. McClelland is the grandson of Helen A. Sawyer of Starkville and the late Ranville Tom Sawyer.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Starkville High School. He is employed as an import parts specialist at Carl Hogan of Columbus.
