Police search for robbers

Meridian police are searching for two gunmen who robbed a shoe store employee late Tuesday night.
Lt. Wade Johnson, of the Meridian Police Department, said two masked black men entered Name Brand Shoes at 2124 North Frontage Road around 10 p.m. brandishing two silver semi-automatic guns.
Name Brand Shoes is located in the Cloverleaf Shopping Center.
Johnson said the thieves robbed the lone employee of his wallet and jewelry.
One suspect is described as 6 feet tall, weighing about 190 pounds and wearing a black mask, green shirt and light colored shorts.
The second suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds.
Residents with information can call CrimeStoppers at 485-1860.
