Local bank welcomes new addition

Bank Independent introduced the addition of Ben Alexander to the Russellville Main sales office as Sales Officer earlier this month.

Alexander will serve the financial needs of citizens of the Franklin County area, providing personalized loan solutions and supporting the Bank’s mission to enhance the economic development of the community, according to officials.

Alexander comes to Bank Independent from SunTrust Bank in Florence where he served as Branch Manager.  Alexander has also supported the community as a Financial Advisor at BBVA Compass Bank and as an agent for ALFA Insurance.

“We’re very excited to welcome Ben to our team,” shared Larry Archer, Bank Independent Franklin County Area President.  “Ben has displayed a passion for helping folks reach their financial goals, and we know he will continue to build deep, long-lasting relationships here at Bank Independent.”

Alexander has been very involved in his community as a member of the Leadership Shoals Class of 2014-2015, a volunteer for Upward Soccer as a coach, co-chairman of the Annual Jack Karnes Memorial Golf Tournament, and a member of the United Way Allocations Committee.

He studied at the University of North Alabama and graduated from Concordia University in Portland, Ore. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  A lifelong resident of northwest Alabama, Alexander and wife Sarah Beth reside in Florence.
