Bennie Earl Kennedy, 74, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the Red Bay Hospital.

He was a native of Itawamba County and was Leadman at Day-Brite for over 45 years. He was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church.

Services were Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Wood and Bro. Shawn Davis officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are his wife of 52-1/2 years, Paulette Kennedy, Golden, Miss.; three children, Richard Kennedy, Southaven, Miss., Regina Kennedy, Golden, Miss., and Renee Kennedy; one grandson, Nickolas Torok and five first cousins, Helen Sparks, Mary Lee Robinson, Marvis Summerford, Morris Kennedy and Horace Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pervie and Ruby Kennedy.

Pallbearers were Morris Kennedy, Horace Kennedy, Terry Robinson, Troyce Taylor, Phillip Horn, Kane Harris and Raymond Fennel.
