Megan Brockway and Patricia Borden from Russellville High School made the Volleyball ALL Tournament Team for the 5A Area 14. They are both seniors at RHS and are co-captains of the volleyball team.

Brockway and Borden agreed that the award was an honor to receive.

Brockway had 37 aces, 198 kills, six blocks and 300 digs; Borden had 57 aces, 150 kills, 62 blocks and 204 digs.

The Volleyball ALL Tournament Team award is selected by the coaches. Each coach nominates four players, and 12 players are selected from the schools in the area: Lawrence County, West Point, Fairview and Russellville. The coaches of the area teams chose which players received the honor.

“It’s an honor that they were chosen,” said Coach Charlotte Dollar, the volleyball head coach at Russellville.
