Ann Oliver Clark

Ann Oliver Clark, 81, of Haleyville, passed away Oct. 20.  

Born in Alabama, she had lived in the area all of her life and was a member of Orange Baptist Church of Phil Campbell and was also a member of the Women’s Alfa Association. She had worked as a physical therapist assistant.

Visitation with family and friends will be Oct. 23 from noon until 2 p.m. at Orange Baptist Church, with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. with Corey Nicholson officiating.  

Pallbearers will be Chris Lane, Jeremy Lane, Jason Lane, Gardner Gann, Randy Tidwell, and Darren Oliver. Honorary bearers include Dylan, Thomas, Mason and Wyatt. Burial will be in Orange Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving Mrs. Clark are her spouse, John Clark; daughter, Tammy Taylor and husband Jimmy; son-in-law, Jimmy Dale Lane; brother, James “Shorty” Bates and wife Jan; grandsons, Chris Lane and wife Beth, Jeremy Lane and wife Christy and Jason Lane and wife Krystal; granddaughters, Amy Tidwell and husband Randy and Olivia Gann and husband Gardner; great-grandchildren, Devin, Drake, Dylan, Thomas, Makayla, Lexi, Mia, Mason, Wyatt and Tripp; great-great-grandchildren, Evin, Maddux, Raelyn and Trey; and a host of loving nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins and sisters-in-law who will miss Ann’s sweet disposition.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Guy and Esther Bates; husband, Forest

Oliver; son, Terry Kyle Oliver; and daughter, Renee Oliver Lane.

A special thanks to Caring for Life Hospice Center of Huntsville for the love and care given to our Dear Ann.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Caring Center, 10000 Serenity Lane, Huntsville, 35803.
