Grant help available for high energy costs

WASHINGTON A grant has been established to help consumers pay their high energy costs through funds derived from private and corporate sources.
Donors to the program receive tax exemptions because of Consumer Guidance's non-profit status, granted by the Internal Revenue Service.
Consumer Guidance Corporation offers assistance to people who cannot fully pay the their energy bills, prescription drugs and the cost of other medical care.

The primary purpose of Consumer Guidance is to educate and assist consumers with consumer debt issues.
