Letter to the Editor: Save Our Strays thanks supporters

Dear Editor,

Save Our Strays of Franklin Co., Ala., a non-profit 501(c)(3), recently held two separate fundraisers.
First, we would like to thank the many individuals who supported our recent rummage sale, especially Shaun Reathford and Discount Warehouse.

Also, T-shirts are now available for purchase from Save Our Strays for $20, with all proceeds going to help rescue efforts.
A huge thank you goes out to the businesses that supported us: Shoals Custom Homes, Russellville Animal Clinic, Paw Life Pet Resort, Russellville Dental Care, Sunshine Mills, First Metro Bank, Smith Animal Clinic, Campbell Vision, State Farm: Rhett Bradford, New Horizons and Scottarosa Farms.

Save Our Strays of Franklin Co. was founded to help with the explosion of unwanted and uncared for dogs in Franklin County. It is at times overwhelming to find fosters and forever homes for these animals, but also extremely rewarding when you are able to help.

Each individual in Franklin County could be a hero in this cause, either through responsible pet ownership, spay and neutering their pets, donations to pet rescue organizations, or fostering a pet until it can be transported to rescue.

Please follow us on Facebook at Save Our Strays of Franklin County, Ala., and join the effort to help these animals.

Sincerely,

Jill Adams
, Director
