The radio show "Remember When" will air its 156th episode Saturday with a three-hour special, featuring the story of The Meridian Star, on WYLS Radio-AM 670.
The show will run from 9 a.m.-noon.
Host Carl Fitzgerald said it will feature interviews with members of the newspaper staff.
Now in its 20th year, Remember When marks its return to AM radio this Saturday.
Fitzgerald said he and another Meridian radio personality, Noel Adcock, are now joining forces with radio producers Barney Grant and Tim Craddock of York, Ala.
WYLS Radio debuts a new "great American music" format today. Remember When follows on Saturday with Fitzgerald and Adcock. On Monday, from noon-4 p.m., Adcock will host "Great American Country."
