MeLissa Kaye Duncan and William Reid Campbell were married Saturday, July 28, 2001.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James H. Duncan of Meridian.
The bride is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and Mississippi State University. She received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in May 1999. Mrs. Campbell is currently finishing a residency in internal medicine at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile.
The bridegroom is a graduate of East Mississippi Community College. He served 12 years in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of Desert Storm. Mr. Campbell is currently employed as a police officer with the Meridian Police Department, where he is a member of SWAT.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents. The couple resides in Meridian.
