Clarkdale remained undefeated in boys' soccer with a 1-0 win over Northeast Lauderdale Friday night at Northeast.
Northeast Lauderdale missed opportunities to score early . Defensive pressure from the Bulldogs kept the Trojans from scoring the entire game.
Bulldog David Prewitt scored the only goal for either team . Prewitt received a penalty kick with 15 minutes remaining in the first half . The kick was too much for the Trojans to handle as it found the net.
Bulldogs Griffin Parker and Jay Jacobs paced extreme pressure on the Trojans to keep them from scoring in the half.
Neither team scored in the second half of play.
The 8-7 Trojans will face South Jones on Tuesday.
The 9-0 Bulldogs will travel to West Lauderdale to face the defending league champs Monday night.
