Kenneth Leon Whitlock, 66, Phil Campbell, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

Funeral services were Friday, March 16, 2012, at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Ottie Sandusky officiating. Interment was in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Larry Sandusky, Rudy Collier, Ben Ross, Bruce Espin, Sandy Seal, Michael Sandusky and Will Seal.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Lee Whitlock; parents, Charlie Russell and Mary Vernon Whitlock; siblings, Billy Ray Whitlock, Hollie Russell Whitlock, Jimmy Wayne Whitlock, Johnny Earl Whitlock, Carl Dale Whitlock, Brenda Sue Hall, and Freddy Dean Whitlock.

He is survived by his wife Linda Creekmore Whitlock; daughter, Lisa Sandusky and husband, Larry; son, Kenny Leon Whitlock; siblings, Gwen Williams, Betty Collier and husband, Rudy, Charlene Seal; three grandchildren, Laura Beth Sandusky, Tanner Whitlock, Luke Whitlock; several of nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Kenny for his dedication and loving care for his dad, my dear sister Vicky, Nanny Jordan, and Jennifer of Amedisys Hospice and staff.
