Phillip David Wood, 65, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Wood was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of North Russellville Baptist Church. He was retired from Mangus Tool and Die.

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Pinkard Funeral Home with burial in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges. Officiating was Randy Bracken.

Survivors include wife, Linda Wood; sons, Keith Wood, Waterloo, Brian Wood and wife, MiMi, Russellville; sisters, Mary Thompson, Tuscumbia, and Pat Gerdes, Michigan; step-children, Kevin Smith and wife, Kristi, Madison, Kim Seal and husband, Randy, Russellville, Kristen Huffaker and husband, Michael, Florence; grandchildren, Brianna, Bailey, and Jaxon Wood, Mason and Will Donahoe, Melissa Cansler, Tide Goolsby, Kandi Cain, Belle, Maggie and Jill Huffaker, Jacob and Joshua Seal, Zac and Carson Smith; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilhelimena Wood; parents, Hubert and Dot Wood; brother, Bud Wood and wife, Rose Marie; sisters, Louise Wilson and Marie Ford; brothers-in-law, Ozie Gerdes and Bill Thompson.
