Charles “Dee” Lester Garrison

Charles “Dee” Lester Garrison, 76, Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at his residence.

The visitation will be from 12-2 pm Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, prior to the 2 p.m. chapel funeral service with Sister Carolyn Baker officiating. Interment will be in Blue Springs Cemetery with military honors.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie V. Garrison; brother, Douglas Garrison; grandmother, Evie Dickson.

He is survived by his fiancée, Sherry Marbutt; mother, Orene Garrison; brother, Elgin Garrison; sisters, Doris Faye (Bobby) Baker, Kathy (Wyatt) Hutcheson; several nieces and nephews.

He was a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant.
