Russellville student receives NWSCC scholarship

Mercedes Darby, Russellville, received an academic scholarship from Northwest-Shoals Community College.
A senior at Russellville High School, Mercedes is a member of Educational Talent Search and the volleyball and track teams.
Mercedes is the daughter of April Darby and Corey Tompkins. Her grandparents are Donna Darby and Robert Darby.
While at Northwest-Shoals, Mercedes will pursue a degree in dental assisting.
