Mary Allison Barr and Brian Scott Deming, both of Hattiesburg, were married Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at the Meridian District Office of the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Warren Coile officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. David Barr of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Deming of Mandeville, La.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Barr, and Mr. and Mrs. John A. Johnson, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Deming of Abilene, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Zucknick of Taylor, Texas.
Music for the ceremony was provided by The Chamber Group of Upbeat. Soloists were Warren Coile and David Barr.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless white satin gown featuring a beaded bodice with a sweetheart neckline and full organza skirt. She carried a bouquet of orange roses.
Monica Tingle of Hattiesburg served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Alison Deming of Houston, Texas, sister of the bridegroom, and Beth Tucker and Autumn Wedgeworth, both of Meridian.
Cameron Goddard of Hattiesburg served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were John David Barr of Meridian, brother of the bride, Justin Slay of Brandon, Bryant Smith of Baton Rouge and Patten Wood of Hattiesburg.
Program attendant was Kym Peairs of Starkville.
A reception was held at Union Station following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Ashley Bennett, Bonnie Smith, Erica Huntley, Molly Kimble and Abby Long.
On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at Northwood Country Club.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple resides in Hattiesburg.
